Fraction strips are nothing but rectangular pieces which are used to represent a given fractions and also to compare two different fractions just by dragging and adding pieces from fraction towers.

Hence they are highly preferred by the students to compare and study about various fractional relationships.

Two fractions can be said equivalent by comparing the size of their fraction strip. If two strips are of the same size, then we can conclude that those two fractions are equal and If one strip is smaller than the other, then we can conclude that they are not equal.
