a multiple is when you multiply numbers by a number

    example: multiples of 5 are 5, 10, 15, 20 etc

    (5*1=5, 5*2=10, 5*3=15, 5*4=20)

a factor is the numbers that divide evenly into another number

    example: factors of 6 are 1, 2, 3

    (6 divided by 1=6, 6 divided by 2 = 3, 6 divided by 3=2)
