Leah wrote 2 different fractions with the same denominator. Both fractions were less than 1. Can their sum be equal to 1? Can their sum be greater the 1? Explain

    Yes both, if they were both one half they would equal one. If one was 2 halves and the other was one half they would equal one and a half, being greater than one.
