The question is incomplete, but i will answer in a general way.

    If we have a linear equation f (x) = y = a*x + b

where a is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

Any other line with the exact same slope will be parallel, so we can have a parallel line as:

    g (x) = y = a*x + c

    where if c = b, we have that f (x) and g (x) represent the same line.
