    Step-by-step explanation:

    hello:

    y = - 5/2 * - 7 ... (*)

    X + 2y = 4 ... (**)

    by (*) put the value of y in (**) : x+2 (-5/2 * - 7) = 4

    x - 5x - 14 = 4

    -4x-14 = 4

    -4x = 18

    x = - 18/4 = - 9/2

    but : y = - 5/2 * - 7 so : y = - 5/2 (-9/2) - 7=45/4 - 7 ... continu
