Probability of both being boys - 1/4

    Step-by-step explanation:

Ok so 2 boys and each boy has a probability of 1/2 so 1/2 times 1/4

    1/4

    Step-by-step explanation:

It would be 1/4 because for the first child, the probability of it being a boy is 1/2, and for the second one, it would have 1/2 as well. There are 4 ways the first two children could have been:

    1. boy boy - it is 1/4 of the options.

    2. boy girl

    3. girl boy

    4. girl girl

Another way to solve it is by multiplying 1/2 by 1/2.
