The area of a rectangular park is 82,520 square feet. the length of the park is 350 feet. which equation can u use to find w, the width of the garden in feet?

350 x w = 82,520

82,520-w=350

2w+2 (350) = 82,520

82,520 x 350=w

    As area of rectangle = length x width

    so area of rectangular park = length of the park x width of the park

    On substituting the given values of area, length and width as variable w is above formula we get

    82520 = 350 x w

    => 350 x w = 82520

    Hence first expression that is 350 x w = 82520 can be use to find width w of the garden in feet.
