The amount of gas that a helicopter uses is directly proportional to the number of hours spent flying. The helicopter flies for 2 hours and uses 26 gallons of fuel. Find the number of gallons of fuel that the helicopter uses to fly for 4 hours.

A. 8 gallons

B. 65 gallons

C. 52 gallons

    Because it is directly proportional, if 26 gallons are spent for 2 hours of flight, then for 4 hours that are double (2*2=4), then double gas must also be spent (2*26=52), it is say, 52 gallons
