One of the largest pumpkins ever grown weighed about 3 over 4 ton. How many pounds did the pumpkin weigh?

    Since a ton is 2000 pounds, 2000/4=500. 500*3=1500 The pumpkin weighs 1,500 pounds.

    You can also just do 2000*3/4=6000/4=1,500
