A tree was 300 inches tall in 2018. A year later, it was 336 inches. It grew 36 inches. What percent did it grow by? In other words, what percent OUT OF the original tree height of 300 inches did it grow?

    It grew by 12%

    336-300=36

    36/300 x100 = 12

    So it's 12%
