If x+3=5, what is the value of 2 (x+4) ?

    if X+3=5 then that means that X would be equal to 2

    So the equation would be 2 (2+4)

    2 multiplied by 2 would be 4 and 2 multiplied by 4 would be 8

    You would be left with

    4+8 which equals 12
