    Answer: base a=2ft

    height hₐ=5ft

    Step-by-step explanation:

    use equation for area of triengle

    A=a*hₐ/2

    hₐ-height of tringle

    a-base of triangle

    hₐ=a+3

    A=a (a+3) / 2

    2A=a²+3a

    A=5ft

    2*5=a²+3a

    a²+3a-10=0

    a = (-3±√9+40) / 2

    a = (-3±7) / 2

    a=-5ft

    a=2 ft

    hₐ=2+3=5ft
