In the funny elementary school cafeteria, lunch for 100 people is served. But it is today turvy, and the waiters are acting funny. The first waiter every plate upside down. Then another waiter turned every other plate over. The third waiter turned every third plate over. (so if a plate was upside down it was placed normally, but if it was placed normally, it became upside down.) The fourth waiter turned every fourth plate over, and so on, until the hundredth waiter turned the hundredth plate. At the end, how many plates were placed normally?

All the plates were placed normally.

    Step-by-step explanation:

All the plates were upside down, then every third waiter turned the third plate upwards, the fourth waiter turned every plate upward and so on, the pattern continued until the 100th waiter turned the 100th plate upward. The pattern was finished and all the plates were placed normally, right side up.
