    Area of a triangle is base * height : 2

    base=8x+4 x=-4/8 x=-1/2

    height=3x-4 x=4/3

    A=b*h:2

    A = (-1/2*4/3) : 2

    A = (-4/6) : 2

    A = (-4/6) : 2/1 to divide by fractions flip the second and multiply

    A=-4/6*1/2

    A=-4/12

    A=-1/3
