Formula for the perimeter of a rectangle P=2a + 2b, for b

    My answer is: P/2a = 2b

    if that's wrong then im sorry I got it by dividing 2a on each side so 2b would be alone

    Since we have P = 2a + 2b we can do the following to make b the subject of the formula

    P = 2a + 2b (Minus 2a from both sides)

    P - 2a = 2b (Divide both sides by 2)

    (P - 2a) / 2 = b

    or

    (p / 2) - a = b
