    The slope is 3/2

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The slope is a in the equation y = ax + b

    The equation is - 8y = - 12x + 9 - 7 → - 8y = - 12x + 2

    When we make this possitive by multiplying by - 1 the equation will be

    8y = 12x - 2

    To get Y we have to divide by 8

    y = 12/8 x - 2/8

    The slope is 12/8 or if we simplify it 3/2
