How to use a yardstick to measure a rug?

    You could take the yard stick and measure one time to 3 feet then do the same thing until it stops to the end of the rug.

    You need to take the yard stick and measure to find the middle. (measure each way, make marks with sticky notes if needed) and then multiply the two measurement of two sides, (one from the top, one from the side) and that will be the "area" of the rug. If you don't need the area, take the two numbers and for example show them as, "18x6" meaning, a (area) = 108.
