    N/-5 + 8 < 6

    subtract 8 from both sides.

    n/-5 < - 2

    n represents 1.

    1n/-5 < - 2

    multiply each side by the reciprocal.

    1n / - 5 x - 5/1n < - 2 x - 5/1n

    n = 10
