    x=$150,000

    4th person invested $550,000

    Step-by-step explanation:

    100,000+x+2x + (100,000+x+2x) = 1,100,000

    200,000+6x=1,100,000

    6x=900,000

    x=150,000

    The investment of the fourth person is 100,000+3x

    =100,000+450,000

    =$550,000
