4t + 2u2 - u3; t=2 u=1

(I can't input exponents; the second '2' in 2u2 is an exponent, and the '3' in u3 is, too.)

    9, I believe.

    4 (2) + 2 (1) ^2 - (1) ^3 (^ just means to the power of "exponent")

    8+2-1=9
