    Adult = 114

    Students = 86

    Step-by-step explanation:

    If 200 tickets were sold between students and adults (A + S = 200) and 28 tickets were sold more for adults than for students (A = S + 28), then;

    A+S=200; A=S+28 →

    (S+28) + S=200 → 2S+28=200 → 2S=200-28 → S=172/2 = 86

    Replacing S in A

    A=86+28 = 114
