Tim is running a distance of 30 city blocks. Each block is the same length. It took him 6 minutes to run 10 blocks. At the same rate, how

many minutes will it take Tim to run the entire 30 blocks?

    30 blocks = 18 min

    You can answer this because you know that 10 x 3 is 30, so if if the number of blocks tripled then the amount of time should triple as well because he's running at the same rate.
