What is 4/5x - 7/5 =

    If the equation equals 0, then it would be x = 7/4. Add the 7/5 to the other side of the equal sign and multiply by the reciprocal of 4/5, which is 5/4, on both sides to cancel it out on the x side.

    To be honest the answer is going to be the same.

    Well because first of all their is a X in one number instead of the other. Second of all we don't know how much the X equals. And ya that's all.
