Therefore the total combinations of combination of dresses she has 12.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given that,

A saleswomen has 5 skirts and 3 jackets.

With first jacket she could wear all 5 skirts.

The number of combinations of dress she has with the first jacket is = 5

With second jacket she could wear 4 skirts.

The number of combinations of dress she has with the second jacket is = 4.

With third jacket she could wear 3 skirts.

The number of combinations of dress she has with the third jacket is = 3.
