We want denominator to be common, so GCD is x².

    3 / x + 4 / x² = 3x / x² + 4 / x²

Now we got common denominator. so we can combine them.

    3x / x² + 4 / x² = (3x + 4) / x²

    So the answer is C, (3x + 4) / x ²
