Solve x=4 (.34x + 1.4)

    First, you have to multiple 4 to (.34x+1.4) and you will get (1.36x+5.6). Then you subtract 1.36x to the right side and you will get (-0.36x=5.6). Finally, divide both sides by - 0.36 and you will end up with - 140/9 as your answer.
