Jennifer needs to buy candy. She has enough money to buy 20 ounces of candy. She puts 1 and 1/2 pounds of candy into a bag. How many ounces of candy does Jennifer need to remove to have 20 ounces remaining in the bag?

    She needs to remove 4 ounces. She has 24 ounces in the bag.

    Well she has 24 ounces all together that 4 ounces to much. So she need to remove 4 ounces. (1 pounds = 16 ounces) have a great day
