A park is 3/4 mile long and 1/2 mile wide which fraction represents the ratio of the parks length to its width

    Length=3/4 mi and width=1/2 mile so

    L:W = (3/4) : (1/2) by convention we will express this ratio with integers ... multiplying both fractions by 4 we get:

    L:W=3:2
