Terry still have 384 peices of chocolate bars

    Solution:

Given that Terry buys 34 boxes of chocolate bars and gave 18 of her boxes away to her older brother

To find: Number of pieces Terry still have

Total boxes with Terry initially = 34 boxes

Now terry has given 18 of her boxes to her older brother

So the boxes now left with Terry is:

boxes left with Terry = Total boxes with Terry initially - number of boxes given to older brother

    boxes left with Terry = 34 - 18 = 16

So Terry has 16 boxes left

Each box has 24 chocolate bars inside it

    1 box = 24 chocolate bars

    So, 16 boxes = 24 x 16 = 384

So Terry has 384 peices of chocolate bars left
