Clothes was 25% off. $99 was paid for clothes. What was original price before discount?

    Well, if the clothes were 25% off. You would multiply $99.00 • 25%, giving you $24.75. So you would have saved the 24.75 from the 25% of the 99.00.

    So here:

    99.00•25

    24.75

    24.75•99

    123.75

    123.75 is the answer because if you divide 25/100 you get 0.25 and times that by 99 you get 24.75 and then you add that to 99
