So, We Have:
8.0%
We Want To Change It To A Decimal. So, we first need to recall the rule.
So, with percentages, they are actually just the decimal form multiplied by 100. So, We have to divide by 100 to change it back. Now, the simple way to figure out things when multiplying by 100 is to move the decimal over 2 spaces to the right. So, now that we are doing the opposite, we must move the decimal over 2 spaces to the left. So, we have:
8.0%
Now, move the decimal.
We get:
0.08
