Wendy had 35 tickets for games at a carnival. She used 1/5 of the tickets to play the ball-toss game. She then used 1/2 of the remaining tickets to play the ring-toss game, in witch she won 5 more tickets. How many tickets did Wendy

    35 x 1/5 = 7

    35-7 = 28 tickets

    28 x 1/2 = 14 (used half so would have 14 left)
