First we will divide d amount of miles per week to d amount of miles per gallon. Den we will multiply and d answer will be d amount of dollars per week. Lets do it:-

    150 : 25 = 6

    6 gallons per week.

    6 * 3 = 18

So, you spend $18 on gas each week.

In order to solve this question, we just first get how many gallons your car is able to use up in that 150 miles that you are traveling. You can do this be dividing 150 by 25. So when you do this, you will get 6. In 150 miles, you will use up 6 gallons of gas. So in order to get how much gas money you are spending on per week, you just simply multiply 6 with the price of gas per gallon which is 3. When you do this, you will get 18. So all in all, you will spend $18 on gas money per week.
