    C = - 35°

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given °F is 4° more than the °C.

    F = 4 + C

    F - 4 = C

    The conversion equation for celcius to fahrenheit is

    F = (9/5) C + 32

    Use this to substitute in your equation

    F - 4 = C

    ((9/5) C + 32) - 4 = C

    (9/5) C + 28 = C

    28 = C - (9/5) C

    28 = - (4/5) C

    -35 = C

    C = - 35°
