A discounted concert ticket costs $14.50 less than the original price p. You pay $53 for a discounted ticket. How do you write and solve an equation to find the original price?

    Equation = x - 14.5 = 53 where x is the original price

    Solving x - You can just add 14.5 to both sides to get x = 67.50$
