8 small paintings 4 large paintings

    Step-by-step explanation:

If all 12 had been small paintings, DeGuizman's revenue would have been $720. At $1200, it is $480 more than that. Each large painting generates $120 more revenue than a small painting, so there must have been $480/$120 = 4 of them sold.

8 small paintings and 4 large paintings were sold.
