A cable is 40meters long. How long is the cable in decimeters?

    1 m = 10 decimeters

    So, 1 decimeter = 1/10 meters

    So 40 decimeters = 1 X 40 / 10 meters = 40/10 meters = 4 meters ... !

    Hence, the cable is 4 meters long ...
