    Two angles are Complementary when they add to 90 degrees (right angles) all they have to be is 90 degrees.

    EX. 60 and 30 are an example of complementary angles.

    EX. 40° and 50°

    are Complementary Angles, because they add up to 90°

    Some angles may also add to 180 to be a complementary angle.
