Two wholes is just two, and one whole is just one.

    So

    2 + 2/3 - BLANK = 1 + 1/4

    2 + 2/3 = 1 + 1/4 + BLANK

    2 - 1 - 1/4 + 2/3 = BLANK

    3/4 + 2/3 = BLANK

    (9+8) / 12 = BLANK

    17/12 = BLANK
