    With the first five numbers given in the sequence we can figure out what the sequence is. The numbers increase by 6 each time. Since we have the fifth number in the sequence we can add 36 to 35. 35 is the fifth number in the sequence. Why we add 36 is because it would be the same as adding six to 35 six times. The answer will be 71.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    11, 17, 23, 29, 35 ...?

    a = 11

    d = 17 - 11 = 6

    an = a + (n-1) d

    a30 = 11 + (30-1) * 6

    = 11 + 29 * 6 = 11 + 174 = 185

    30th term = 185
