A variety pack of cookies contains 48 cookies. 1/4 of the pack is sugar cookies, 3/8 of the pack is oatmeal raisin cookies, 10 are cinnamon, and the rest of the pack is chocolate chip.

• Determine how many of the cookies are sugar.

• How many cookies are chocolate chip?

    Sugar=12

    Chocolate chip=8

    Step-by-step explanation:

    48 divided by four = 12

    12 sugar cookies

    48 divided by eight = 6

    6 times 3 equals 18

    18 oatmeal raisin cookies

    +10

    10 cinnamon cookies

    and lastly, you add them together, and subtract the result from 48.

    12+18+10=40

    48-40=8

    8 chocolate chip cookies.
