On Monday, 1,900 bottles of perfume are delivered to a warehouse. The bottles are packed in boxes. Each box can hold 32 bottles. How many boxes were delivered? Explain how you found your answer.

    60 boxes were delivered. If there are 1,900 bottles and each box can hold 32 perfume bottles. Simply divide the amount of perfume bottles by the number of amount that each box can hold.

    ie. 1,900/32 = 59.375

    So there needs to be 60 boxes since the decimal indicates that you will need more than 59 boxes.
