    So she has to put a whole number of fruit in each bowl so we find the greatest common factor to all of them

    8=2 times 2 times 2

    12=2 times 2 times 3

    24=2 times 2 times 2 times 3

    the greatest common factor is 2 times 2=4

    you can put it into 4 bowls at max

    so 8+12+24=44

    44/4=11

    11 pieces in each bowl
