A water bottle that holds 24 1/4 ounces of water is 3/5 full. Is there enough water in the bottle to fill three glasses with 5 ounces each? Explain your answer.

    No, not exactly. If you take 24 1/4 ounces and convert it into decimal form its 24.25 ... obviously. But now if we take that and we divide that by 5, we would get 4.85. Now that 4.85 represents a fraction of 1/5 out of 24 1/4. But if we take that 4.85 and multiply it by 3 we would get 14.55 (rounded decimal) and sense they're asking if it would all fit in three cups of a volume with (5) each, in total that would be 15. We only have 14.55/15. So, no. We wouldn't have enough
