Michael has 4 red shirts, 3 green shirts, and 5 blue shirts in his closet. If he randomly selects a shirt, what is the probability that he chooses green or red?

    4 red + 3 green + 5 blue = 12

    Then add the likelihood that you will choose a green or red

    4 + 3 = 7

    The answer is 7/12
