    40 legs

    Step-by-step explanation:

Quincy, Lucy, Prudence, and John = 8 legs

    3 deer = 3 (4) = 12

    4 boars = 4 (4) = 16

a pair of antlers = possibly 4 legs

    8+12+16 = 36 and possibly 4 more legs so 40 legs

    as

    7 bees = 7 (6) = 42

    5 cockroaches 5 (6) = 30

    8 spiders = 8 (8) = 64

    they're all bugs not beasts
