Assuming that the diameter of the circle is the square's side, then we have

    Area of square: S1=10*10=100in²

    Radius of circle: r=10/2=5in

    Area of circle: S2=pi*r²=3.14*5²=78.54in²

    Remaining area: S1-S2=100-78.54=21.46in².

Rounding to the nearest tenth: 21.5in².

    Answer: 21.5in²
