Math problem+Zoey, a Gelada Baboon, is tied to one of the outside corners of a regular hexagon-shaped research facility, where he is free to roam and graze all of the surrounding land outside of the research facility. The rope on the monkey is 75 feet long, and the six sides of the research facility are each 30 feet long. How much area can Zoey graze?

    The monkey will be able to cover an area of 22.86 meters which is equivalent to two sides and half of the building.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The length of the monkeys rope = 75 feet long

    Each side of the hexagon shaped facility = 30 feet

    Note that, 1 feet = 0.3048 m

    if we convert 30 feet to Meter, we have,

    30 * 0.3048 = 9.144

    Therefore, 30 + 30 + 15 = 75 which is equivalent to the two side and half side of the hexagon shaped building

    75 feet * 0.304 meter = 22.86 meters.

    So the total area the monkey will be able to cover will be

    = 22.86 Meters which is equivalent to two sides and half of the hexagon shape building.
