    The first number represents a number on the x axis so you would find the 3 on the x axis (horizontal line), than the second number would represent a number on the y axis (vertical line)

    so you find 2 on the y axis. next you would go back to your 3 on your axis on go up two so its in the same height at as your two on the y axis
