    r = d/2

    r = 15.6/2

    r = 7.8 in.

    thus the radius of the right circular cone is 7.8

    v = 1/3 (3.14) (7.8) ^2 (12.4)

    v = 1/3 (3.14) (60.84) (12.4)

    v = 2368.866/3

    v = 789.622

    thus the volume of the right come is 789.622 cubic inches
